NEW YORK (AP) There’s an emerging market for murals by artists that look like they could make a splash in an increasingly crowded field.
But one of the best ones is a series of black-and-white images that are still popular and still popular.
They’re still very hard to find.
And they’re very hard not to buy.
The Miami mural is one of several in Chicago that use white, white-and black backgrounds that look so much like murals that they are almost unrecognizable.
The series, called The Mural of the Century, was a huge hit with the Chicago art scene and became one of dozens of murals put up by the city in the past three years, according to the city’s mural board.
It has become one of two major art exhibitions in Chicago this year, the other being a huge show of the citys murals.

It’s a portrait of the City of Chicago, with black and white backgrounds, by painter Raul Gallegos, whose work is also on view at the Chicago Art Museum.
In the center is a large, white sign that reads “The Mural,” with a black-on-white-and white-on the white sign “CITY OF CHICAGO.”
The mural shows a woman holding a bouquet of flowers.
The words are written in black ink, the white on the black.
A white- and black-skinned man is holding a knife.
The man is wearing a shirt and a hat.
The woman is holding her children.
Gallego’s work is not a traditional portrait of Chicago.
He uses his brush strokes to paint small images that he then overlays onto a background.
He sometimes takes on the persona of an artist who lives in the city and has an eye for the details.
He’s known for his use of black and yellow as well as red, which he says gives the works an African-American identity.
It gives them a visual element, he said.
He likes the color red, because it has a feeling of warmth and warmth.
He said he loves the idea that a city is in a constant state of flux.
Galambos has been a mural painter for 30 years, working with a range of artists.
He started as a street artist and then went on to paint for the Chicago Public Library.
He worked with the city of Chicago for 15 years, and in 2012 was named Chicago’s Art of the Month for his work.
“The mural was a response to the violence in the streets,” Gallegas said.
“A lot of the artists, particularly the artists of color, had been saying that there’s not enough white, but it’s really just a reflection of the white gaze that has been directed at the city.”
Gallegs said that when he began the series, he thought it would be something people would notice.
But it’s taken on a life of its own.
He says it has now become a favorite with many Chicagoans.
It was on the cover of the magazine Art Talk last year.
And now, it is on the wall of the Art Institute of Chicago atrium, where it was featured in a book about Chicago’s mural artists.
Galembos said the city has gotten so busy with the murals now that they can’t even get rid of them.
He told The Associated Press that people who are looking for murids are going to the new ones.
He added that the murids have a certain appeal to people.
“They are beautiful and it has the same feel,” Galembas said of the new murals with white backgrounds.
“It’s a reflection.
It feels like a place, a home.”
He said there is no one person who is doing the mural for Chicago.
“People are going out and they’re doing things, they’re painting and they are doing a mural and that’s it,” Galas said about the art scene.
He noted that there are other murals around the city that also are done by black and colored artists.
“I think there is a need to have murals everywhere, and it’s not just a white-only thing,” Galambas said, adding that it’s also time for more black- and white-dominated art.
Galas is not alone.
Art Institute curator Scott McKean said he’s heard from many people in Chicago who are thinking about starting their own murals because they are frustrated with the lack of black artists in the field.
McKeon said there are no limits to the number of black people in the art world and that the city should embrace them.
“There are a lot of people who can make a living as artists,” McKeans said.
